Description papoteur 2018-04-23 13:01:37 CEST
Description of problem:
When upgrading mageia 5 to 6, php-ZendFramework2 replaces php-ZendFramework.
But these applications are absolutely not compatible. Perhaps conflicts is needed, but no replacement.
Applications using php-ZendFramework won't work with php-ZendFramework2. The last one should be considered as another product.

Thus this is false:

+ Revision: 872341
- changed Conflicts: to Obsoletes: php-ZendFramework
* php-ZendFramework2 should be fully campatible
* we don't want to maintain two version

Well, I agree in the sense that ZF2 isn't a drop-in replacement for ZF1, and I tried to explain that to Thomas repeatedly to no avail. *However* we did not include ZF1 in mga6 and did affirmatively choose to remove it from users' systems due to it being unmaintained and with security issues, so it was going to be obsoleted somewhere, either in ZF2 or task-obsolete, and ZF2 was more appropriate even if not 100%. Users shouldn't continue using legacy ZF1 applications on mga6.
