Description Kristoffer Grundström 2018-04-06 18:44:11 CEST
Description of problem: I went to a page to find more trackers and I found a long list of possible trackers, but to my experience there's no way to add and test each tracker before downloading to see which ones that work or those that doesn't work. Having the option to copy and paste a number of trackers and have transmission confirm if it works and let it add those that work for future use would be great.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.93+

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Transmission.
2. Add a bigger torrent and start downloading it.
3. Rightclick on the torrent and click Properties.
4. Click on the Trackers tab.
5. Click on the add button.
6. Copy and paste every tracker from a long list and click OK.
7. Transmission will now check the response of all the trackers and add those that are sharing the file that you want to download.

Please request that upstream and add a link to that request in this bug report.

When you find that upstream has added this feature, then reopen this report and ask for a Mageia Transmission package that contains it.

In that case, please change the summary of this report to something like

"Please build new transmission for <whatever name or description upstream gives to the new feature>"

Closing this report for now. I would maybe have left it open if you had already added a link to the upstream feature request ;-)
