Description William Kenney 2018-04-01 23:29:15 CEST
Description of problem:

I just created a new M6 hardware install for my testing of Plasma and during that process I attempted to install LastPass on Firefox 52.6.0 ESR.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lastpass-password-manager/

That addon did not launch. Using the same system I downloaded the latest Firefox, 59.0.2, and the lastpass addon worked just fine on that. I think we will shortly move on to a newer ESR that should support this critical addon.

last version 4.9 should work on our firefox 52
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lastpass-password-manager/versions/
(I don't want to use this commercial service for testing)

Thanks. I'll give this a go next time I bring up a new install or the one I just built.

The balance of extensions that will or won't will be strongly in favor of 52 for quite some time, so we'll stick with that as long as it's supported.
