Hi,

pdftk was available in Mageia 5 (pdftk-2.02-1.mga5.x86_64.rpm and pdftk-2.02-1.mga5.i586.rpm) but is not in Mageia 6.
I'd like this package to be available.
I couldn't install pdftk-2.02-1.mga5.x86_64.rpm on my Mageia 6 system :
# urpmi pdftk-2.02-1.mga5.x86_64.rpm
Le paquetage demandé ne peut pas être installé :
pdftk-2.02-1.mga5.x86_64 (car libgcj.so.15()(64bit) est non satisfait)
Désirez-vous tout de même continuer ? (O/n) n
libgcj.so.16 is available on my system.

Regards.

Xuo.

Please search Bugzilla when filing new bugs. This has been requested multiple times already. It's dead Java software that doesn't build.

Resolution: (none) => WONTFIX
Status: NEW => RESOLVED

Hi,

This is right that I didn't check in the Bugzilla database anything about pdftk. I've just found it with rpmfind.net for Mageia5 and I thought it wouldn't be too much work adding it in Mageia 6.
Sorry for the waste of time.

Regards.

Xuo.

Hi Eric,

I don't know if you saw Denis's comment in another bug:
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21734#c4

Hopefully qpdf helps you. Thanks for your interest.

Hi,

qpdf works fine for what I want to do (merging pdf files in a single one).

Thank you.

Regards.

Eric Bouyoux.
