Description of problem: After installing all *emoji* packages, emojis in hexchat are not displayed in color or not displayed at all. I have: shlomif@telaviv1:~$ rpm -qa '*emoji*' unicode-emoji-4.0-1.mga6 google-noto-color-emoji-fonts-20150417-2.mga6 cldr-emoji-annotation-31.0.1_1-2.mga6 in a new user - the emojis I tried are displayed in grey scale. In my existing user, they are displayed as blank space, even after restarting using startx. Mageia cauldron just has so many small annoyances. :(. Hi all! After investigating this problem in mga7 cauldron, I found out that it didn't happen in a new user and was able to fix it in my existing user by moving away ~/.config/fontconfig. Now I have colour emojis in hexchat, pidgin, gedit, and gvim, and b+w ones in kde apps. This bug can be closed AFAI concerned.
