Created attachment 670 [details] The Mandriva file /etc/xdg/autostart/xfce4-login-sound.desktop Hello, The title says it all.
There're no ia_ora sound files in Mageia.
(In reply to comment #1) > There're no ia_ora sound files in Mageia. Why? I asked the question on the forum MageiaLinuxOnline. They said that with KDE there's a start. I thought it was the same sound file. For my part, I copy the file from the CD Xfce Mandriva Community. This is not the sound of Mandriva Oficial
ia_ora sound files are copyrighted by Mandriva, the issue came up when cleaning the desktop-common-data package.

Sorry, I don't know. Are those sounds different from the official Mandriva ia_ora sounds? We don't have a maintainer for mageia-xfce-config. In the changelog: Thu Mar 24 2011 ahmad <ahmad> 1-6.mga1 + Revision: 77096 - don't ship xfce4-login-sound.desktop as we don't have a default sound theme with a login sound yet cc'ing Thierry, who committed mandriva-xfce-config years ago
CC: (none) => marja11, thierry.vignaudSource RPM: desktop-common-data => mageia-xfce-config-1-9.mga1.src.rpm
still no maintainer for mageia-xfce-config
Created attachment 1721 [details] Logon sound In the doubt, I chose a sound under license LGPL, KDE-Sys-Log-In.ogg.
Created attachment 1722 [details] The file xfce4-login-sound.desktop The file xfce4-login-sound.desktop is modified.
Attachment 670 is obsolete: 0 => 1

This message is a reminder that Mageia 1 is nearing its end of life. In approximately 25 days from now, Mageia will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Mageia 1. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX (EOL) if it remains open with a Mageia 'version' of '1'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Mageia version prior to Mageia 1's end of life. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Mageia 1 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Mageia, you are encouraged to click on "Version" and change it against that version of Mageia. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Mageia release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. -- Mageia Bugsquad

As we don't have official sound theme, yet, I'm closing this as WONTFIX. Feel free to reopen when we have one.
