Description Henning K 2011-07-23 16:18:19 CEST
Description of problem:
I can't create a new guest-account using the Mageia -Control Center.
I tried it multiple times but no new Account showed up, neither in the Control Center nor in my Login-Screen.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Every time I try to create a new guest-account

Steps to Reproduce:
1. remove guest-account from the user list.
2. Restart your computer (just to be sure).
3. Create a new guest-account using the Control Center.
Comment 1 Ahmad Samir 2011-07-23 16:22:07 CEST
The actual name of the guest account is xguest. The easiest way to recreate everything, just uninstall the xguest package then reinstall it.
Comment 2 Henning K 2011-07-24 02:41:13 CEST
Thanks a lot that worked for me.
But I think it's still a bug because it should be possible uninstall and reinstall the xguest package with the dedicated menu-entry in the control-center.

Yes, I'd checked, it doesn't work now, but it used to work before..

I do not understand how it worked before, but just now (for Mga2alpha1), when taking the steps in the description of this bug, I couldn't select rbash for a new account, so I stopped there.

This bug should be cloned for cauldron, but because of its low priority, I choose to set version to cauldron instead.

If anyone disagrees, I'll revert that and make a new BR for cauldron

CC'ing ennael and dmorgan, who touched this package
