Description of problem: I installed the Qt packages that are in the Testing repo (I did not remind the complete list). Most of them were an update from Qt 5.6.2 to Qt 5.6.3 if I am right. After the update, kmail is not running anymore. In a terminal, I get kmail Pass a valid window to KWallet::Wallet::openWallet(). Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x50602) with this library (version 0x50603) *** KMail got signal 6 (Exiting) *** Dead letters dumped. KCrash: Application 'kmail' crashing... KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit sock_file=/run/user/1000/kdeinit5__0 [warn] epoll_wait: Mauvais descripteur de fichier So, I think the Qt updates broke kmail. I did not find yet other KDE app broken for the same reason.

Ok, good! Would it be possible to get back to previous qt version packages in order kmail works again here? I ask because I do not know to do it manually since I do not remember which Qt packages I installed.
Upgrading to qt 5.9.3 solves the problem. Kmail is now working again.
Mageia 6 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2019-09-30. It is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Mageia version. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we weren't able to fix it before Mageia 6's end of life. If you are able to reproduce it against a later version of Mageia, you are encouraged to click on "Version" and change it against that version of Mageia. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Mageia release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. If you would like to help fixing bugs in the future, don't hesitate to join the packager team via our mentoring program [1] or join the teams that fit you most [2].
