Description José Jorge 2018-01-01 17:45:41 CET
Clementine was submitted to testing one year ago to test a dynamic playlist bug.

I have been using it, but forgot to create a bug report. So for this one.

Installed Clementine, including several gstreamer dependencies, in MGA5 on real hardware. Getting updates replaced many of the gstreamer packages, after which I used it to play some mp3 files to verify it was working.

Then, I activated the testing repositories to test the update:

The following 5 packages are going to be installed:

- clementine-1.3.1-1.mga5.x86_64
- gstreamer1.0-gsm-1.4.3-2.1.mga5.tainted.x86_64
- gstreamer1.0-neon-1.4.3-2.1.mga5.tainted.x86_64
- gstreamer1.0-ofa-1.4.3-2.1.mga5.tainted.x86_64
- lib64cryptopp6-5.6.3-1.4.mga5.x86_64

Installation went smoothly. Upon starting Clementine, I was informed that a rescan was needed, which I approved. Then, I played the same mp3 files as before, with no problems noted.

Marking this OK for 64-bit.

Mga5-i586 (real h/w)

updated system, install Clementine, add local files - .mp3 and .wma.
check playback - ok
check online media ( Icecast) playback -ok.

reboot system for new kernel (and "nobody" fix).

update Clementine:

urpmi clementine

Ben - thanks for the advisory - & test.
Am validating, you could have. This is Mageia 5 only, and 2 OKs is the limit.
