Description Alan Richter 2017-12-30 01:22:56 CET
Description of problem:
When using XFdrake to set up graphical server, following reboot, Xorg does not start.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Mageia Cauldron/7

How reproducible:
Always unless "radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1" is added to the kernel command line in which case amdgpu loads and Xorg starts and Vulcan works great.

Steps to Reproduce:
xhost +
sudo XFdrake
select amdgpu in Graphic Card section
make sure "radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1" is not in the kernel command line.
reboot.

Using the command line is a non-obvious but easy workaround. Should it be added to XFdrake?
