Description Juan Magallon 2017-12-15 13:26:13 CET
If I try to install JavaFX:

# urpmi java-1.8.0-openjfx
A requested package cannot be installed:
java-1.8.0-openjfx-1.8.0.152-1.b16.2.mga7.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied java-1.8.0-openjdk[== 1:1.8.0.151-1.b12.1.mga7])
Continue installation anyway? (Y/n) y
While some packages may have been installed, there were failures.
A requested package cannot be installed:
java-1.8.0-openjfx-1.8.0.152-1.b16.2.mga7.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied java-1.8.0-openjdk[== 1:1.8.0.151-1.b12.1.mga7])
Continue installation anyway?

Problem is that this new OpenJFX seems part of a Java update that did not reach the mirrors. OpenJDK version in mirrors is this:

java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.141-1.b16.1.mga7 x86_64
java-1.8.0-openjdk-demo-1.8.0.141-1.b16.1.mga7 x86_64
java-1.8.0-openjdk-devel-1.8.0.141-1.b16.1.mga7 x86_64
java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-1.8.0.141-1.b16.1.mga7 x86_64
java-1.8.0-openjdk-javadoc-1.8.0.141-1.b16.1.mga7 noarch

There is no -152 update.

This is because the openjdk update failed to build and nobody helped fix it.
Comment 3 Nicolas Salguero 2017-12-19 15:51:22 CET
Hi,

Openjdk update is now built so the problem will be over as soon as the packages land on mirrors.

Best regards,

Nico.
