After being upgraded by a Cauldron repository, Totem can't use Fluendo codecs (playback plugins) anymore.

I think that the reason is that GStreamer in Cauldron is incompatible with Fluendo plugins.

You should file a bug report with fluendo upstream (we don't package them in the repos).
