Some important issues I have found when trying enlightenment 22.1: 1. Opengl only seems to work if the pixmaps option is not selected. All windows (except menus) are blank if pixmaps is selected, though there is invisible content that is clickable. The pixmaps option is the default, so for me to start configuration I need to turn off compositing, then turn off pixmaps, then turn on opengl. I have tried this with mageia 6 and cauldron Intel packages with the same results. glxgears_pixmaps does work (when I run enlightenment without the pixmaps option, otherwise the window is clear). I have intel graphics. 2. Window moving and resizing using the mouse crashes enlightenment (even clicking on the title bar crashes enlightenment--though it does not crash if clicking on the close, maximise, and minimise buttons). Configuring and using the "Move to Center", "Resize By", "Push in Direction" keyboard short cuts does work. 3. Suspend and hibernate do not work and crash enlightenment. Suspend suspends to ram but on resumption is back at the dm login screen. Echo -n mem > /sys/power/state works fine. 4. Configuring the lockscreen to use the current wallpaper does not work. The lockscreen always uses the default wallpaper. I hope this is of help.

Ok, I cannot reproduce the issue 1, 2, 3 but I can confirm 4. For issue 1, 2, 3, we could try various options: a) Does the same pb appears with a new users, for a fresh default configuration of enlightenment (desktop)? b) If yes, could you test other options for your intel drivers, using mcc you may be able to deactivate various accelerators and check if the problems are intel drivers related.
The mageia installation picked up some old files from a local install in /usr/local/efl. Once these were removed issues 1, 2, and 3 were resolved. Issue 4 remains, but is minor.
