Thunar did not generated thumbnails for jpeg (and maybe other) files, even if I had thunar-thumbnailers package installed. After some search with google, I figured out that the package tumbler is required for thunar to generate thumbnails. After installing the required component, image thumbnails did show up in thunar.
Sugestion: add tumbler as a dependency for thunar-thumbnailers.

Actually you only need tumbler, IIUC. Uninstall thunar-thumbnailers and test.

task-xfce already suggests tumbler, maybe we should add a suggests in thunar itself...

I did not installed task-xfce, only thunar. I think thunar should suggest tumbler too.
Anyway, thanks for the heads-up.
Should I leave this bug open, or close this and open a new one with thunar to suggest tumbler?

Next thunar package will suggest tumbler, should be on the mirrors soon.
