It is a online radio stream browser. It can be used with streamripper.

I'd say Streamtuner is dead..

Quotes from official website:
"Latest Version
streamtuner version 0.99.99, released December 21, 2004."

"I am no longer working on streamtuner. At the time of this writing (December 3, 2007), the latest release still works well (except for the Live365 support), but it is unlikely that there will be another release of streamtuner in its current form."

I think there's no reason to add a package to distro which has no upstream support anymore, no new releases coming and previous version is from 2004. Also, there's new project called streamtuner2 and bug report about adding it to official repos, see bug 2462. Therefore I'm closing this bug as WONTFIX..
