Description of problem:
On a laptop, I can see in /var/log/messages some problems with ksplashqml :
Nov  5 17:31:29 localhost systemd[1]: Started User Manager for UID 1000.

Nov  5 17:31:33 localhost ksplashqml[3200]: kf5.kcoreaddons.desktopparser: Could not locate service type file kservicetypes5/, tried ("/home/utilisateur/.local/share", "/usr/local/share", "/usr/share")
Nov  5 17:31:34 localhost ksplashqml[3200]: kf5.kcoreaddons.desktopparser: Could not locate service type file kservicetypes5/, tried ("/home/utilisateur/.local/share", "/usr/local/share", "/usr/share")
Nov  5 17:31:34 localhost ksplashqml[3200]: file:///usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.mageia.breeze.desktop/contents/splash/Splash.qml:28: ReferenceError: screenSize is not defined
Nov  5 17:31:34 localhost ksplashqml[3200]: file:///usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.mageia.breeze.desktop/contents/splash/Splash.qml:27: ReferenceError: screenSize is not defined

It seems to happen just after log in to plasma.
Looking into the internet, it could be linked to a VNC server running on this laptop !
It is x11vnc-0.9.14-2.mga6.

Sorry for the delay.
I had to make a fresh install with almost the same configuration.

With journalctl, I can see this line reteated several times :
avril 14 16:12:26 localhost ksplashqml[3005]: kf5.kcoreaddons.desktopparser: Could not locate service type file kservicetypes5/, tried ("/home/user/.local/share", "/usr/local/share", "/usr/share")

Using Mageia 7? 

If so, then please change "Version:" in the upper left of this report to "7"

(Mageia 6 is no longer supported)
