Ubuntu has issued an advisory today (October 24):
https://usn.ubuntu.com/usn/usn-3462-1/

It appears that this issue was fixed upstream in 1.1.15 or 1.1.16, so only Mageia 5 is affected.  CVE-2016-7797 was introduced in 1.1.12, so Mageia 5 is not affected by that.
