Description Jack M 2017-10-18 02:39:40 CEST
Description of problem:

Changing the time to a future moment starts the screensaver and locks the screen, this happens even if you manually change the time.
System : Cauldron, x86_64, LXDE

How reproducible:

Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set the time to a future moment (for eg date -s "specify time" or through drakconf)
2. screen locks, screen saver starts

Not sure which package to assign to.

Assigning to the LXDE maintainer, who'll know or find out :-)

Comment 2 Nicolas Salguero 2018-06-19 15:03:14 CEST
Hi,

I think it is not a bug but a feature of xscreensaver: if it detects a time leap, it locks the screen as a security measure.

Best regards,

Nico.
