The package is in Mdv (that makes it more likely it'll get packaged for Mga)

Alternate software suggestion: keepassx (do a web search) is packaged in mageia. It is file compatible with programs on other platforms. You can have text notes in there, as well as per-site passwords and some automation, all in a nice tree folder structure, searchable, password generator auto closing database after time, unlock by both password plus optionally a key file. Then let dropbox or similar app distribute + backup + versionning it to all your computers. Works nicely for me :)

no, keepassx is not identical in bcrypt. Keepassx crypt a folder while bcrypt crypt a file. Application is not identical. Thank you.
The bcrypt rpm is here for Mandriva http://m.icewalkers.com/rpm/bcrypt/mandriva-2007.0/download/bcrypt-17263.html
Weird, its spec was already in our SVN. I synced it with Fedora but as we are in release freeze I can't submit it into the repo. So if you need the packages you can get them from here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xat4rjg29ioegh9/05bSqQqV5v I will submit it for Mageia 5 when the repo opens again.

Your version is 1.1-1 and the mandriva version is 1.1-6. Is it logic?
I tested Mandriva version on Mga3 i586. there is no problem.
-1 is release. As you can't upgrade from Mandriva anymore I saw no point to keep the release.
it's sure. It's only new RPM package
In Fedora, bcrypt version is 1.1-10 http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=bcrypt
I totally forgot this bug :/ Finally submitted into cauldron.
