If you use systemd-networkd, this is a very easy tool to manage your network configuration. 

Please notice: the file /lib/systemd/system/netctl@.service is not function correctly in Mageia 6, NotifyAccess=exec seems to be unsupported.
Change it to main, or if the new Mageia has an update of systemd, then the change is not neccesary

It also makes the workaround for bug 17706 easier to fix

Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.
