Upstream has released MariaDB 10.1.27 and 10.1.28 on September 25 and 28 (today): https://mariadb.com/kb/en/library/mariadb-10127-release-notes/ https://mariadb.com/kb/en/library/mariadb-10128-release-notes/ 10.1.28 fixes several bugs (and a regression from 10.1.27) and may fix security issues that we'll find out about later. Mageia 6 should also be updated.

MGA6-32 on Asus A6000VM MATE No installation issues. Run with success mysql_secure_installation. Trying to run phpmyadmin fails because my httpd is still blocked on the issue since some update: : httpd: Syntax error on line 54 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 5 of /etc/httpd/conf/modules.d/01_mod_dbd.conf: Cannot load modules/mod_session_dbd.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/mod_session_dbd.so: undefined symbol: ap_hook_session_save Will try to clean this up tomorrow.

Removed apache and phpmyadmin completely and installed them again, now works like a charm. Usual tests: delete previous database, created new one, created new table wit primary and unique index. All OK.

Testing M6/64 AFTER the update: - lib64mariadb18-10.1.28-1.mga6.x86_64 - mariadb-10.1.28-1.mga6.x86_64 - mariadb-client-10.1.28-1.mga6.x86_64 - mariadb-common-10.1.28-1.mga6.x86_64 - mariadb-common-core-10.1.28-1.mga6.x86_64 - mariadb-core-10.1.28-1.mga6.x86_64 - mariadb-extra-10.1.28-1.mga6.x86_64 - mariadb-feedback-10.1.28-1.mga6.x86_64 Played with PHPmyadmin to create 2 tables in existing but empty database 'test', insert data rows into these, delete rows selectively, prune & delete tables individually, delete the database. Seems OK.
