Does this still happen with latest kernel+PA in Cauldron? It would be nice if we didn't have to investigate too heavily as this has the potential to be a real pain to track down.

haven't had the chance to test on that system since, and I doubt the user wants to install Cauldron on it, so please close it if you think it is resolved.

Closing as old is a way to resolve a bug, but it doesn't mean it'll be fixed in Mageia 2 stable We don't have a Mga2a3 liveCD at the moment, but if you happen to have the Mga2a2 one, could you test without installing, then?
