Description of problem: This is a little hard to describe but i try. In one PC with an old Card:NVIDIA GeForce FX series: NVIDIA Corporation|NV34 [GeForce FX 5200] [DISPLAY_VGA] (rev: a1) I can't see videos embedded in smplayer (but the sound is present), if i check the option "Run mplayer/mpv in its own window" in Preferences->Advanced->Mplayer/mpv The video it's show I don't know what have changed , i didn't have this behavior in MGA 5 or under MGA 6 RC In other PC (also i586 but with plasma) with intel card, i don't have this issue.

I found a wokarround, from a terminal emulator run XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 smplayer That allow to play the video, but sound delayed a few, i have to rewind the video to play in sync the audio. I found the solution here https://github.com/alexrj/Slic3r/issues/2704 As long i am the only with this weird issue (and just in one machine) i close with worksforme
Resolution: (none) => WORKSFORMEStatus: NEW => RESOLVED
Current update smplayer-18.1.0-1.mga6 fix this issue Still persists the audio issue but maybe is thing of this old hardware. By the way in vlc i don't have the audio issue.
