Description Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2017-08-27 02:02:23 CEST
Everything was working fine a few minutes ago, but the recent perl update broke everything:

# mcc
Too late to run INIT block at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.26.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/Glib/Object/Introspection.pm line 257.
/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.26.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/auto/Locale/gettext/gettext.so: undefined symbol: Perl_pad_sv

# rpmdrake
/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.26.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/auto/Math/Int64/Int64.so: undefined symbol: Perl_pad_sv

# drakuser
/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.26.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/auto/Locale/gettext/gettext.so: undefined symbol: Perl_pad_sv

etc...

Which perl update? I don't have that problem with perl-5.26.0-7.mga7
Or are you using perl-5.26.0-8.mga7 from testing?

perl-5.26.0-8.mga7 from testing, yes.

Then downgrade.
This is a temporary package in core/updates_testing as we need to complete a new perl stack bootstrap (see bug #21441)
