Assigning to Bruno, the registered maintainer of Audex (in Mageia 5).

CC'ing Akien, who said in the mlo forum that he might have time to do the packaging.

A MLO user provided a SRPM which could be used as a base for packaging: https://www.mageialinux-online.org/forum/topic-23815-2+audex.php#m230332

Something seems to be wrong with audex in our SVN. For cauldron it only contains the empty directory structure and only 1 svn log entry:
http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/cauldron/audex/current/

Whereas we had this packaged in mga5 (which was branched from cauldron, I know because I've worked on this package before):
http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages?view=revision&revision=830138
http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/updates/5/audex/current/SPECS/audex.spec?view=markup

Would be helpful if somebody from our friendly sysadmin team could take a look with svnadmin on the cauldron part and maybe restore it to the point where it was branched from cauldron to mga5 updates (rev. 830138, see above).

I'd take a look to updating it to the kf5 port later, as I've used audex in the past, but I'd say it's not that good losing our cauldron revision history ...

Right, it has been obsoleted in the meantime, noticed this also when installing the kf5 build ...

Thanks, so we can just move it back, I'll give it a try - even though the cover fetcher is not working again yet.

Hi,
I wanted to rip some of my new CDs, but didn't find the Audex CD ripper in Mageia. Why is that? I would like to use it.

And now it will be part of the kde-apps stack since 24.05.0 series :)
