The packages scim-gtk, scim-bridge-gtk and scim-bridge-qt4 has been installed. Moreover, I installed a package scim-qtimm which is downloaded from a Madriva mirror.
hi, could you paste the content of your .i18n file ? as a side note, you can give a try to other input methods like ibus.

In Mageia Alpha 1, there are not ibus or fcitx packages. I downloaded a fcitx package from a Mandriva mirror and installed it, but it didn't work.
