A lot of them are KDE packages (incuding KDM) that no longer exist in Mga6, afaik they should have been obsoleted.

Some others, like lib64orcus0.8_0-0.7.0-4.mga5 were replaced by other ones with a higher major, in this case lib64orcus0.12_0-0.12.1-2.mga6.... the latter was probably installed on your system because LibreOffice needs it.

Assigning to KDE team for the KDE packages and CC'ing all packagers collectively for the other ones.

If you didn't install any third-party software (so if you didn't install software from a non-mageia repository or website), then it is safe to remove all packages in the versions that you find when you run:

   urpmq --not-available

urpme --auto-orphans isn't perfect and sometimes misses things. The real key is, does uninstalling the remaining mga5 packages try to remove anything else it shouldn't? Please let us know. If the answer is no, you can close this as INVALID. If it's yes, there may be an upgrade issue in a package.

after deleting all package*.mga5, skypeforlinux, which is already installed, no longer works: no more sound; it's possible to hear, but your correspondent doesn't hear you; this is corroborated by skype call test
Comment 6 peter lawford 2017-08-14 23:32:59 CEST
it was just a microphon level control, I have fixed it with pavucontrol
Comment 7 peter lawford 2017-08-15 12:27:41 CEST
about skypeforlinux, the same symptoms apperas with mageia5; neither the mike output level nor the packages mga5 in mageia6 couldn't be responsible
I shall post this bug to skype bugs services, if there is one

This message is a reminder that Mageia 6 is end of life.

Mageia stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Mageia 6. At that time this bug will be closed as OLD (EOL).

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to
fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later
Mageia version prior to Mageia 6's end of life.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we cannot
be able to fix it before Mageia 6 was end of life.
If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Mageia, you are encouraged to click on "Version" and change it against that version of Mageia.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime,
sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Mageia
release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
