Created attachment 9536 [details]
output of running konqueror from cli

Start konqueror and visit e.g. http://www.mageia.org
Konqueror crashes immediately

See attachment for the cli output.

Note that I ran konqueror in XFCE and that I did not, yet, try to reproduce this issue in Plasma5

Therefore not adding this report to the Plasma tracker.

You should upgrade to 17.04.3. neoclust moved all KDE apps from 16.12.3 to 17.04.3 this last week.

Thanks for spotting that, Frédéric. I had assumed that I had updated it to the latest version, which is on my local mirror, but then "rpm -qa konqueror" shouldn't have returned the former version :-/

I'll check when I am home again.

With 17.04.3 on the laptop that I have with me now, the issue doesn't occur

Ever confirmed: 1 => 0
Status: NEW => UNCONFIRMED

Comment 3 Marja Van Waes 2017-07-31 14:11:26 CEST
Konqueror had indeed not been updated.
Updated konqueror works fine.

Sorry for the noise.
