System Settings>Desktop_Behaviour>Virtual_Desktops>Number_of_Desktops=4 2. In MCC>Hardware>Graphical_Server>Options>Uncheck Enable_Translucency 3. Reboot 4. Select Desktop 2 Result: Black screen
So when you keep translucency checked, the screen doesn't turn black when selecting a different desktop after reboot?

This message is a reminder that Mageia 6 is end of life. Mageia stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Mageia 6. At that time this bug will be closed as OLD (EOL).
