@ katnatek

Thanks for your help... so openssh-server is the culprit?

Assigning to its maintainer

So basically, you witnessed the issue once, you don't have any way to reproduce it, but you consider it a software bug and you want me to fix it without any better idea of the root cause ?

Well in my defence i just have one PC with Mageia and i am very limited of disk space, so i can't make other Mageia 5 install to upgrade to 6.

So, yes, was one time, the time i migrate from Mageia 5 to 6 RC, after that i try to connect from a windows PC to my linux PC (with WinSCP also) and fail.

I found the ssh server don't start, i try to start manually and don't works.

The only think that works was my suggestion on comment #1

I you can't solve this, then a errata is a good idea.

By the way the report say he can connect with putty (ssh), i can't provide more info because i cleaned the journalctl logs

@PETIT Henri, please provide the output of run this as root:

service sshd status

I remember some complain but not exactly about what
Comment 9 Guillaume Rousse 2017-07-18 18:04:49 CEST
Guy, you're the only one to have reported the issue sofar, and you're not even able to reproduce it. Until proven otherwise, that's likely to be a transient issue.
