This is an update request for ding. The program is fine, but the included en<->de dictionary is pretty old, 18,2 MB, the newer one is 20,9 MB.

Once M6 is final and out, could you re-package ding with an updated dictionary for /usr/share/dict/de-en.txt ? For M6 and Cauldron.

Though users can easily download the dict and copy it themselves, it would be nice to have the newer one included.

And something else, don't know if it is relevant. The dependencies are aspell, but ding default is set to use hunspell.

Mageia 7: dictionary is updated. Thanks!

Ding config is still set to hunspell instead of aspell, and the default font is unreadable. Both can be changed by the user in the 'Preferences' menu.
But it's so minor and because it seems I am the only Mageia user for 'Ding', I set it to resolved, fixed.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => FIXED
