Description Michael Martins 2017-06-26 19:58:15 CEST
This package contains two programs:

woeusbgui: a simple tool that enable you to create your own usb stick windows installer from iso image or a real DVD.
    woeusb: the command line tool.

Supported images:

Windows Vista, Windows 7, Window 8, Windows 10. All languages and any version (home, pro...) and Windows PE are supported.

Supported bootmodes:

    Legacy/MBR-style/IBM PC compatible bootmode
Native UEFI booting is supported for Windows 7 and later images(with a limitation of only FAT filesystem can be used as target filesystem)

It's possible that after development for Mga7 begins a packager might be willing to import woeusb.

In the meantime there are already several application available in Mga, such as
brasero, that can be used to create an image file from the contents of a DVD.

As to dumping a usable Windows install image to USB, unetbootin works well.
I have only used it with Win 10 Insider Preview builds but see no reason that it would not work with other Win versions.

I've already requested this package to be built and added and I already have a working spec file for it. Therefor closing this as a DUPLICATE of bug #16162
