Description of problem: The man page for wpa_supplicant is out of date. In particular, wpa_supplicant -h listsdrivers: nl80211 = Linux nl80211/cfg80211 wext = Linux wireless extensions (generic) wired = Wired Ethernet driver roboswitch = wpa_supplicant roboswitch driver none = no driver (RADIUS server/WPS ER) while the manpage lists bsd and ndis, and does not list the currently recommended driver nl80211 except in an example. We ship man pages from upstream so it might be better to report this issue directly to upstream.

It isn't easy to find where to do that, though.. I hope w unruh can find their bug tracker. I reported it by email to j@w1.fi with two items: One is wpa_suppicant man page not properly listing the Drivers, and the other that wpa_cli man page )( or anywhere else) does not report the varous arguments that wpa_cli supports as listd for example in http://hackerj.tistory.com/34 which lists about 130 undocumented commands in wpa_cli Will try to let you know if I ever get a reply.
