Description Stig-Ørjan Smelror 2017-06-09 19:28:24 CEST
I sometimes escape the boot splash and have seen the mentioned messaged.

It's just minor, but still needs to be fixed.

Cheers,
Stig

What is the bug, that you see "Checking for new hardware" twice on one single line?

Or that you see "Checking for new hardware" twice on separate lines, with or without other lines in between?

Please attach log.txt that is the result of running, as root

     journalctl -ab > log.txt

Assuming this is a harddrake issue, so assigning to the mageiatools maintainers.

Hi.

This doesn't happen every time, but I've included a log when it did happen.

I've also compiled my own kernel (4.11.4) and see the same line.

Yes, it is on one line:
Checking for new hardwareChecking for new hardware

Hi.

This still happens, but it seems random. Using the standard kernel supplied with MGA6.

I've seen it happen after a system crash, after a normal reboot and after cold boots.

Cheers,
Stig
