Description Stig-Ørjan Smelror 2017-05-19 07:46:49 CEST
Description of problem:

I've installed cpufreqd to control the cpu and the cpufan which is really noisy so that it can run at a minimal speed during the night.

It works great, however cpufreqd-get and -set can't find a socket to connect to.

# cpufreqd -f /etc/cpufreqd.conf -D -V 7

$ cat /var/run/cpufreqd.pid
29982

$ cpufreqd-get -l
No cpufreqd socket found

@ Stig

It is four years later now, nothing happened here and I doubt you still have a system with this problem. So closing as OLD

However, if you do still have the issue, then feel free to reopen this report and update it.
