Description of problem:

1. edit /etc/group and type your username after the users group, save it.
2. su - username
3. groups

you will notice that groups will not mention that your user is also in group 'users' . i have not tried reboot.

i tried on another mageia, and i cannot reproduce, so i must have errorred somewhere...
