Wondering whether bug 20762 and this one have the same cause. Similar to what was said on IRC: Dave is probably right about no /root/drakx/report.bug being created for a mgaonline upgrade, but maybe there's some magic I'm not aware of.... please check whether you see files from the upgrade in /root/drakx/ To get the systemd logs from the upgrade, you need to either know how many boots ago you ugraded, or the from-until times of it. * If you only rebooted once since upgrading, then, as root journalctl -ab-1 > log.txt will give you the needed logs, if you rebooted twice journalctl -ab-2 > log.txt will give them, etc. * If you don't know how many boots ago, you can use something like: journalctl -a --since="2017-04-30 18:00" --until="2017-04-30 22:00" > log.txt (adjust the times as needed) (CC'ing mageiatools and KDE maintainers) * To compress log.txt, please use xz: xz log.txt and then attach log.txt.xz to this bug report. * Please (assuming no report.bug from the time of the upgrade exists) do also attach lspci.txt that's that result of lspcidrake -v > lspci.txt

Apr 30 11:47:51 localhost.localdomain [RPM][5991]: install glibc-6:2.22-24.mga6.x86_64: success (In reply to ben mcmonagle from comment #0) > 3.at about 800 packages, the info window changes to black text on black > background The 800th package, IINM, was Apr 30 12:47:44 localhost.localdomain [RPM][5991]: install kdegraphics-mobipocket-2:16.12.3-1.mga6.x86_64: success If there's any error in the logs that's related to the black on black problem, then I fail to see it. Assinging to the mageiatools maintainers, they'll reassign if needed.

it appears to be when oxygen-gtk3 is removed. (removal dialogue is too fast to see the name) this is installed in the same batch as gedit (package 769) and amorak (package 760) libreoffice-core (package 734) I am guessing it would be removed in the same batch
