Description of problem: Tried to install qt4-linguist, and this is what drakrpm replied (dependencies): > Îια να ικανοÏοιηθοÏν οι εξαÏÏήÏειÏ, ÏÏÎÏει να εγκαÏαÏÏαθοÏν και Ïα ÏαÏακάÏÏ ÏακÎÏα: > > - lib64qt4-database-plugin-sqlite-4.8.7-15.mga6.x86_64 > - lib64qtclucene4-4.8.7-15.mga6.x86_64 > - lib64qthelp4-4.8.7-15.mga6.x86_64 > - qt4-assistant-4.8.7-15.mga6.x86_64 > - qt4-doc-4.8.7-15.mga6.noarch > > Îα ÏÏηÏιμοÏοιηθεί εÏιÏλÎον ÏÏÏÎ¿Ï 294MB ÏÏο ÏκληÏÏ Î´Î¯Ïκο. Note that it says 294MB! That's package qt4-doc , basically. Maybe, or maybe not, related to bug 20416, which calls for... > qttools5 should require/recommend qttools5-assistant for the help in linguist qt4-doc description says: > HTML documentation for the Qt toolkit. To view the documentation, please load up the file /usr/share/doc/qt4/html/index.html in your favourite browser.
According to the spec file: qt4-linguist recommends qt4-assistant qt4-assistant recommends qt4-doc You can install qt4-linguist without recommends from the command line, as root, with: urpmi --no-recommends qt4-linguist I'm not sure what to do with this bug report, I doubt removing one of those recommends is an option. Assigning to the qt4 maintainer to decide.
