Create a file, for instance a text file. 3. Put this file in the trash, for instance with a right clic in Dolphin. On the desktop, the trash icon remain empty-icon. 4. Disconnect. Connect. On the desktop, the trash icon is full-icon. 5. Empty the trash. On the desktop, the trash icon remain full-icon. 6. Disconnect. Connect. On the desktop, the trash icon is empty-icon.

That wasn't this issue, that was a similar issue in Mate, after which you mentioned seeing it in Plasma5, too, but were asked to file a separate report for that. Do you still see this in _Plasma5_ in up-to-date cauldron or in up-to-date Mageia 6, Kristoffer ? The reporter of this bug report mailed me to tell he no longer uses Plasma5 and that he switched to a different distro (thanks for the mail, Dominique, I'm glad I saw it in the avalanche of mails I get).
Mageia 6 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2019-09-30. It is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
