Description Len Lawrence 2017-03-20 15:22:05 CET
Description of problem:
The IceWm desktop becomes unresponsive shortly after launch. Initially, when moved, windows leave a trail of intermediate frames behind them then become unresponsive internally and to window manager commands. The virtual desktop panes on the panel also ignore mouse-clicks. Ctrl-Alt-Del does not work. On this basis did not try to raise a virtual console.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mageia-6-sta2-x86_64-DVD

How reproducible:
Repeats on one machine so far - 4K (DP) monitor, nvidia graphics.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install GNOME+IceWm from latest classic iso
2. Login to IceWm
3. Attempt to interact with window items and the panel
Comment 1 Len Lawrence 2017-03-20 15:37:48 CET
Two choices are available on the login screen; IceWm and IceWm session. The latter does not appear to suffer from the afore-mentioned problems.

This looks like a duplicate of bug 20471... Ben didn't see it when logging in from LightDM instead of from GDM
