Summary: Mageia6 sta2 live (x64) don't work => Mageia6 sta2 (x64) live dont'work
Which 64bit sta2 Live iso did you try? Gnome, Plasma5 or XFCE? Can you switch to a VT when the system seems to hang, with e.g. "Ctrl+Alt+F3" and login with user "live" (no password)? If so, then please run the following commands: su journalctl -a > journal.txt and attach journal.txt to this bug report. Also, please run lspcidrake -v > lspci.txt and attach lspci.txt to this bug report, too If you can not do any of the above, then please run the last command in a konsole or terminal in a working Mageia install on that machine, or in a working Mageia 5.1 Live DVD, and attach lspci.txt from there.

Hi, I have tried Plasma5 I can edit journal.txt but i'm not able to copy it to my hard drive when i use live from USB. It seems the problem provide from my graphic card Asus Geforce GTX 750 and the Nvidia driver. at a moment, i have had this message at the beginning of the installation : Sorry but there is a problem setting your graphical display I join lscpi.txt from Mageia 5 up to date. G. BONNET PS. Mageia6Sta2 run on Virtual Box. Slowly but it run.
Three things to try. Each require editing the kernel boot options in the grub menu (F6 from the legacy boot menu, 'e' from the UEFI boot menu). 1) Add the option noxorgconf 2) Delete the option xdriver=free and add the option nokmsboot 3) Change the option xdriver=free to xdriver=modesetting Make sure you type the options exactly as written above - mis-typed options will be ignored without any warning :-( Note that (2) enables use of the proprietary nvidia driver. This has to be built and installed, which significantly increases the boot time. If you are using UEFI boot, this option is provided as separate grub menu entries. If you are using legacy boot, watch out for the bug that changes the menu selection when you press F6 (described in the errata).

Thank you very much Mr Whitaker : after having modified the kernel boot option line of the legacy boot menu as you told me, Mageia6sta2 live plasma start without problems. The only difficulties i met was to edit the kernel boot options with the arrows and to use the qwerty keyboard. Encore Merci
Glad to hear that it's working now. Please could you tell us which of the three options worked for you, as that will help us guide other users.

Bonjour The first option don't work The second was Ok but it taxes 2'30" to arrive to the login screen For the third option it takes only 55" :))
Thanks (belatedly!) for the information. Unfortunately there is no one solution that works for everybody, so we just have to put these suggestions in the errata. For Mageia 7, I am adding support for selecting your keyboard layout in the boot menu, which should make it a bit easier. Setting to "won't fix" because there isn't a "workaround" option.
