Description Shlomi Fish 2017-03-08 16:58:22 CET
Description of problem:

With the cauldron tainted VLC in a new user in startx in JWM, dragging and dropping any tracks in the VLC playlist causes the GUI to freeze. This doesn't happen with a VLC built from latest source and installed to a prefix.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Cauldron.

How reproducible:

Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start JWM or any other window manager (I tried xfce).
2. start a terminal window
3. run vlc /path/to/several/mediafiles*.ext
4. Invoke the playlist.
5. drag and drop a track.

Lol, I hadn't noticed that you had filed this bug, Shlomi, I thought you were the assignee ;-)

As sais on IRC, this happens with non-tainted vlc, too.

Assigning to the registered maintainer :-)
