Looking at this on x86_64 system before updating and cannot find the "details" tab. Hovering with the mouse simply shows detailed weather data. Right-clicking shows location:units:appearance:scrollbox tabs, none of which have the warning notice. Am I looking at the wrong applet? Added Weather Update after installing the plugin.

OK, found it under weather forecast (left click). Updated to version 1.2 The warning notice had disappeared from the weather forecast panel under details.

Checked this on i586 virtualbox. After the update the deprecation notice had been removed from the Downloads section under the details tab in Forecast. This can be validated once the advisory is in place.

Validating the update. @Jani : could you please offer an advisory? Or I can invent one from comments 0 & 1 if you prefer.
