Description Marc Krämer 2017-01-31 18:31:34 CET
If I use desktop-kernels from mga6, chromium crashes after some short time.
Today I tested the latest mga5 kernel "kernel-desktop-4.4.39-1.mga5-1-1.mga5.x86_64" - this works fine, without any crashes.

I've tested this behaviour on laptop with i7/m620 and J1900 with integrated graphics.

Since many users now use chromium based browsers this is a major feature which is broken

@ MK

Can you use the last Mageia 6 kernel, reproduce the chromium crash and then run, as root:

     journalctl -ab > journal.txt

Please attach journal.txt to this bug report.

Als, please tell us what the output is of:

    lspcidrake -v | grep Card

Tested with the latest kernel 4.9.7-1 - now it works.
Thanks for your help.
