Description of problem: Me-TV does not require or at least suggest dvb-apps. Without dvb-apps there are no templates for scanning of DVB channels available. Please fix.
Pushed fixed package [1] to core/updates_testing. It's requiring the dvb-apps package. [1] me-tv-1.3.6-1.1.mga1

Thx a lot! Did the urpme / urpmi dance and was rewarded with the needed dependency! Good job!

I installed the Core Release version first, then did urpmi --auto-select. In addition to getting the updated me-tv, the packages libdvbapps and dvb-apps were installed correctly. This is on an i586 system. Wolfgang, did you use a 64 bit system? Installation on a 64 bit system has to be confirmed yet. I don't have a tv card, so can't confirm that everything is actually working. Once testing is complete The package me-tv should be pushed from Core Updates Testing to Core Updates. The srpm is me-tv-1.3.6-1.1.mga1.src.rpm

Yes, sorry forgot to say: I have a 64-bit system with a Hauppauge NovaT USB stick. For testing I did it all again: - removed me-tv dvb-apps lib64dvbapps - added the core/updates_testing repo [root@marvin wobo]# urpmi me-tv Um die Abhängigkeiten zu erfüllen, werden die folgenden Pakete installiert: Paket Version Release Arch (Medium »Core Release (distrib1)«) dvb-apps 1.1.1 8.hg1412.1.m> x86_64 lib64dvbapps 1.1.1 8.hg1412.1.m> x86_64 (Medium »Core Updates Testing (distrib5)«) me-tv 1.3.6 1.1.mga1 x86_64 Don't bother about the German text, just to prove that it works as wanted.
Oh, btw: the application is working without problem. I'm currently watching an old sequel of "Two and a half Men" in full screen :)
Ok. Can someone from the sysadmin team push the package me-tv from Core Updates Testing to Core Updates please. The srpm is me-tv-1.3.6-1.1.mga1.src.rpm
pushed to updates.
