Description of problem: Over the last month or so the Suspend/Reboot/Shutdown/Logout icons have become simplistic. That against some very attractive icons of a month or so ago. Screen shots are attached.

Isn't that just the plasma5 Mageia / Breeze default? They match better with the Plasma5 icons for the battery, volume (sound), clipboard etc. And they are great for colour blind people ;-) Switching to the Oxygen desktop theme will make your preferred shutdown etc. icons reappear.

If this is all true then are we defaulting to these icons for color blind people? IMO we should be defaulting to where we were about a month ago.
This is the Breeze Theme. I think you should complain to KDE upstream about this http://bugs.kde.org/ Btw you are still allowed to use oxygen theme if you prefer

Thanks Sam. Unfortunate since there are certainly much more attractive choices for KDE/Plasma.
