Description of problem: It's been 6 months since MATE was updated in Mageia 5 and in Cauldron. 1.17 was just officially released 2 days ago. I therefor took the liberty of packaging it to be pushed to Cauldron. I'm attaching the src.rpm that I built.

I don't know whether upgrading Mate before Mageia 6 is planned, discussed or agreed upon.

Assigning to all packagers collectively, who'll know.

Hi. Thanks for your contribution Kristoffer. We have 1.16.0 stable version in our repositories now. 1.17.x version is mate's development/unstable version and altough i mostly updated packages in svn to 1.17.x i don't intend to push them while Mga 6 release is close. If mate 1.18.0 catches our release then i'll rather push 1.18.0. So, closing this report.
