Adding feedback so it will wait on 5.1 iso release
Whiteboard: (none) => feedback
The 5.1 ISOs have been validated, so this can be validated and pushed now.
Whiteboard: feedback => (none)
There has not been any official iso _release_ yet !
We should have these packages pushed before the ISOs are released, and unless I'm mistaken, they have been validated so they will be released shortly.
The torrents are already available.
(In reply to Samuel Verschelde from comment #5) > The torrents are already available. And the images are on the mirrors already. We're about to publish the blog post.
yes, I know, and I'll push this as soon as blog is pushed... It also needs manual intervention on mirror tree as we have disabled automatic drakx-installer* unpacking on stable trees.
(In reply to Thomas Backlund from comment #7) > yes, I know, and I'll push this as soon as blog is pushed... Not entirely unrelated ;). Should we mention on the blog and/or website + on 5.1 Release notes that 5.1 can be 'installed on nvme hardware'?

Should we mention on the blog and/or website + on > 5.1 Release notes that 5.1 can be 'installed on nvme hardware'? Yeah, that's an important addition on theese isos Also, I've now unpacked drakx-installer* stuff on primary mirror, so new md5sums on boot isos: i586: ace383263a563d3fc37d23df442db8a8 boot.iso 3851d529a445191cde02c9de683faf1d boot-nonfree.iso x86_64: 74e1e97aaf06f18a7457ae713be3ae7a boot.iso 182184999507cdcbca775faed8f9d913 boot-nonfree.iso
These need to be pushed well in advance of the blog post being published. They should be pushed before the ISOs are released so that the packages don't show up in urpmq --not-available. The blog post shouldn't be published until the ISOs have had a chance to sync out to the mirrors.
Please stop this useless bike-shedding... I've done release work since Mageia started, including mageia 4.1 refresh so I know how stuff works.
validating since blog was pushed
