Description Yann Ciret 2016-11-12 00:54:19 CET
Hello,

My host system is on Windows 10 and my Cauldron system is a virtualbox guest.

I can drag and drop files from Mageia Cauldron to Windows 10, but I cannot drag and drop files from Windows 10 to Mageia Cauldron.

I try with Gnome and Plasma.

The drag and drop guest option is set to bidirectional.

I cannot say since when this feature is broken. But I already use it in the past.

Best Regards
Yann

Hello,

I finally found where the files are dropped: in /tmp/VirtualBox Dropped Files/

This is not user friendly as no message indicate this path. I am pretty sure before this folder was in user home directory (or in user Documents directory). It would be nice to revert to this kind of behavior.

Regards
Yann

Still valid or can this be closed?

No response...thus closing OLD.

Feel free to open a new bug with recent versions if still valid.
