Description of problem: Execute an M6, x86_64, Plasma ground up install to either a Vbox client or real hardware. The install media is the latest boot.iso. Repo is up-to-date. Install runs smoothly then you get a screen that features two tiny green menus both of which appear to be connected. Screen shot attached. If you look real close you can carefully go through the last stages of the install and execute a reboot. At that point you get the "Good luck :)" screen and the install is bricked.

As always, please attach /root/drakx/report.bug.xz of that install ;-) The good luck thing is a different issue and may have been caused by only part of neoclust's qt updates having hit your mirror, while all were needed. For now assigning to stage2 and the draktools maintainers, who'll reassign if the logs show another culprit.

Looks like a fbdev issue

I've just completed a net-install (plasma) using boot-nonfree. I had no problem with the installer, which completed without any error. (I did not accept the offer to use the nvidia drivers.) However, on rebooting to the installed system, the x-server failed to start - the "good luck" message was displayed. Entering startx took me directly to the plasma desktop. Switching to lxdm gave me a usable login dialogue. It seems that sddm still has problems in a clean install.
